Introduction to Venting Silencer:

A venting muffler is designed and developed to suppress noise production during factory pipeline venting and exhaust.

There are many types of mufflers, but when it comes to their sound reduction mechanisms, they can be divided into six main types: vent mufflers, resistance mufflers, impedance composite mufflers, micro perforated plate mufflers, small hole mufflers, and existing mufflers. The vent mufflers are one of the more versatile types. The main types of exhaust silencers used are gas (excluding steam) exhaust silencers and steam exhaust silencers. A gas (excluding steam) vent silencer is a device that can eliminate noise generated by sound transmission, allow gas and airflow to pass through, and prevent environmental noise from polluting humans and animals and plants. It is composed of different body types, pore diffusion principles, and metal sound-absorbing materials for exhaust and venting. Mainly used to reduce the steam noise generated by boilers, steam turbines, and steam pipelines, as well as the interference noise generated by oxygen compressors, nitrogen compressors, air compressors, etc. during the discharge of pressurized gases, so that the environmental noise of enterprises meets the national "Industrial Enterprise Noise Hygiene Standards", and the sound attenuation level meets 25-35 decibels (A) - which is widely used in chemical enterprises and thermal power plants;

The venting silencer is relatively compact in structure, and the silencer cylinder is made of stainless steel, which is not easy to corrode. It has a large amount of noise reduction, low steel consumption, small volume, light weight, high strength, and is easy to install and release; Silencers are fixed and can meet the requirements of pipeline thermal displacement. At the same time, they can absorb the vertical and horizontal thermal displacement of the exhaust pipe, ensuring the safety of the hot working of the exhaust pipe. They are a type of noise reduction equipment for controlling exhaust and venting noise. The installation of silencers does not affect the discharge volume of the safety valve and the jumping of the safety valve, and can perform quantitative acoustic calculations.

Calculation of exhaust muffler:

The noise generated by the main steam emission noise of the urea CO2 compressor after being eliminated by the eliminator is 80.4dB, which is less than the environmental protection regulations of the country. Therefore, the design of this eliminator meets the needs of the site.

1. During transportation, the exhaust muffler should be securely padded and tied to prevent damage during transportation;

2. When lifting and loading and unloading the exhaust muffler, it is necessary to follow the relevant markings and select the correct lifting equipment or rope to ensure the integrity of the packaging box and equipment, as well as personal safety.

3. If the equipment is not installed after unpacking, inspection, and verification, it should be packaged and properly stored. When storing outdoors, it should be raised by 200-250mm and covered with rainproof cloth. Even if stored for a short period of time at the installation site, it is not allowed to store the muffler in a place with mud, sand or other debris to prevent blockage of the muffler.
